meet the owner, LAUREN BARILE
Born and raised in Northern Virginia, Lauren’s love for hairstyling sparked in high school and led her straight to cosmetology school at Paul Mitchell The School, Tyson’s Corner. She kicked off her career at Drybar, quickly rising to a trainer role across multiple locations, sharpening her expertise along the way.

Lauren’s passion grew as she transitioned into full-service salons, where she became an educator in advanced styling techniques, product knowledge, and client experience. Her time as a brand ambassador further elevated her skills and insight.

In 2021, Lauren launched Sage, her own salon studio, to offer a more personalized, one-on-one experience. At Sage, Lauren blends her professionalism with a laid-back, welcoming vibe, making every visit feel as effortless as the styles she creates.
